Premier League (England)
Widely regarded as the most competitive and high-profile league in the world, it stands out for its intense pace, its always-packed stadiums and a level of parity that means any team can pull off an upset. Clubs like Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea make it a spectacle week in, week out.
LaLiga (Spain)
The home of passing soccer and technique, LaLiga has produced some of the finest players in history. El Clásico between Real Madrid and Barcelona is one of the most-watched matches on the planet, and clubs like Atlético de Madrid keep the title race alive.
Serie A (Italy) and Bundesliga (Germany)
Serie A is synonymous with tactics and defensive solidity, with an enormous historical tradition and clubs like Inter, Milan, Juventus and Napoli. The Bundesliga, for its part, boasts the highest average attendances in the world, direct and attacking soccer, and the recurring dominance of Bayern Munich over rivals such as Borussia Dortmund.
Ligue 1 (France) and Liga MX (Mexico)
Ligue 1 is an endless production line of young talent that goes on to shine all over Europe. Liga MX is the most-followed league in North America: passion, electric rivalries like América–Chivas and a format with the Liguilla playoffs that keeps the excitement going right to the end.
South American soccer
