What we publish

Golazo Scores publishes two types of content. On the one hand, live football data: scores, fixtures, standings, line-ups and statistics. On the other, our own editorial content: previews, analysis, rankings and guides that help make sense of that data.

Editorial content is signed by a named person, carries a publication date and, if it changes, an update date.

Where the data comes from

The figures in our articles (points, goals, minutes, possession, shots) come from the same match pages and league tables we publish on the site. That is why every article links to the match page and the league table: any reader can check the data.

When we cite information from another outlet (an injury, a quote, a transfer), we link to the original source. We never copy articles from other outlets. In our news section we only show the headline and a link to the original publication.

How we write

We separate facts from opinion. The data is presented as it is; our interpretation is flagged with expressions such as “our reading” or “we believe that”.

We use artificial intelligence tools to help organise data and prepare drafts. No text is published until the editor has reviewed it, checked every figure and signed it.

Independence

We have no commercial relationship with clubs, leagues or bookmakers, and we do not publish betting odds or betting tips. The site is funded by advertising, which never influences what we write.

Corrections

If you find an error in a figure or an article, write to us at [email protected]. We will review it and, if you are right, correct it as soon as possible and show the update date on the article.
